Is off-plan property in Dubai safe?

Dubai has some of the region's strongest off-plan protections. Developers must register projects with the DLD and sell through a project escrow account, and that money can only be released for construction. The biggest risk is choosing the wrong developer or location, which is why we shortlist.

Do I pay commission when buying off-plan through Apricity?

For most primary off-plan sales the developer pays the agency, so the buyer doesn't pay us a fee. You'll still pay the 4% DLD Oqood fee and the developer's admin fee.

Can I get a Golden Visa with off-plan property?

Accepted Answer

Off-plan property worth AED 2 million or more can qualify you to apply for a 10-year Golden Visa, subject to DLD and GDRFA approval. Rules on how much must be paid have changed recently, so we check the current position with you before you commit.

What is a post-handover payment plan?

It's a plan where part of the price, often 30–60%, is paid in instalments after you receive the keys. That can let you rent the home out while you finish paying for it.

Can I sell before handover?
