Zaal Mohamed Zaal founded Al Barari in 2005, and the Zaal family still runs it. It sits in Wadi Al Safa 3, between Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, and is one of Dubai's greenest communities: more than 60% of the land is botanical gardens, with hundreds of plant species and streams, lakes and ponds.
The villas of The Residences are named after plants, such as Acacia, Bromellia, Camellia, Dahlia and Ixora. They sit alongside The Nest's 4-bedroom villas, apartments in Seventh Heaven, Ashjar and The Neighbourhood, and plots in The Reserve for custom-built homes.
