Living in Jumeirah Golf Estates
Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE) opened in 2009 on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). It has two par-72 championship courses, Earth and Fire, both designed by Greg Norman. The Earth course has hosted the season-ending DP World Tour Championship every November since 2009.
Homes are grouped around the courses in villa communities such as Fireside, Flame Tree Ridge, Lime Tree Valley, Olive Point, Orange Lake, Redwood Park, Sanctuary Falls, Sienna Lakes, Valencia Grove and Whispering Pines, plus newer neighbourhoods such as Jouri Hills. Alandalus offers apartments and townhouses. Villas have 3 to 6 bedrooms, and townhouses 2 to 3.
In May 2025, the community's owner, wasl, unveiled its 'Next Chapter' masterplan. It adds a third golf course, an equestrian centre, a tennis stadium and a large central park, along with thousands of new homes over the coming years.

JGE had the highest gross yield of any luxury villa area in Bayut's H1 2026 report, at about 6%. Prices vary widely between townhouses, standard villas and the large golf-front homes, so we price each home against recent sales in the same sub-community.
